A field trip led by Mark Fishwick. Anglezarke Moor is at the Eastern limit of our recording area, and is a SSSI within the West Pennine Moors.   An important breeding ground for Curlew, and other species at this time of year include Cuckoo, Stonechat, Wheatear and Grasshopper Warbler. The round trip is approximately 2.5 miles in length and is of moderate terrain with some stiles (including one particularly large one), a stone bridge without handrails, and the odd tussock, so…

A walk led by Paul Brennan. A circular walk through farmland and the Tan House Valley woodland, returning along a stretch of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal.
