Were they Siberian Chiffchaff ?
Just been checking photos of siberian chiffchaff on some websites after spotting the 2 chiffchaff at croston sewage works today, not easy splitting the two ,could do with our photography team heading down there , the birds were showing well in the hawthorn hedge next to the large metal gate and with the weather to become mild again should bring the birds out even more , have seen chiffchaff in the conifers as well .

Re: Were they Siberian Chiffchaff ?
Went to the sewage works to look for the Chiff Chaff, unfortunately no sight or sound (10.45-11:30), the only birds seen were Goldcrest, Blue Tit, Robin, Grey Wagtail, Pied Wagtail, Blackbird, Redwing, Woodpigeon and a number of BH Gulls.
On Twin Lakes there were, 18 Tufted Duck, 2 Gadwall, Mallard, Coot, Moorhen, Canada Geese, Little Grebe, BH Gulls & 2 Common Gull.
Along the Lake/ path by the Railway I also saw, Blue Tit, 4 Long Tailed Tit, 4 Chaffinch, Coal Tit, Great Tit, Blackbird, Robin, Dunnock, Wren, Magpie and Woodpigeon.
