Twin lakes , male shoveler still present , 1 male gadwall , at least 25 tufted ( maybe a scaup will turn up ) , 1 fem goldeneye .
Sewage works area , 1 kingfisher on a drainage ditch then seen on the lostock , plenty of winter thrushes on the haws , highlight was finding a chiffchaff near to the conifers at the main entrance of the sewage works ( the bird showed really well ) .
Croston moss /finney , arrived from drinkhouse end were there was a flock of around 40 corn bunting , witnessed a kestrel dropping down for a earthworm , plenty of winter thrushes , more kestrels and a buzzard , lots of finches at the double hedgrow ( plenty of greenfinch ) could see the swans in the distance at loch meadow with some whoopers on the large field near to the douglas as well , good flock of linnet behind finney farm on the set aside field .
