Collard Doves and LT Tits

Post by Brian Derbyshire »

Just thinking the other day that we see far fewer Collard Doves around the garden these days - pushed out by the hordes of Woodpigeons - and then this morning there were 12! - but LT Tits are still to make an appearance in any numbers - bad breeding season or sufeit of natural food at the moment?

Considering that I only live about 100yds from Len (as the crow flies) I am only seeing one Collared Dove at a time but the Long Tailed Tits are daily visitors as is a Willow Tit.

Keith, I meant 12+ Long Tailed Tits. Max number of Collard Doves recently has been 4.
