Another morning on the moss with still plenty of birds around. Pink-footed Geese feeding near the wind turbines numbered well over 2500. There were still at least 30 Whooper Swans in the Loch Meadow area. There were large flocks of Woodpigeon, Starling and corvids plus a flock of c50 Stock Dove. Willow Tit and Tree Sparrow were around the feeding station, and smaller birds included a flock of 45 Corn Bunting plus several flocks of Linnet and mixed flocks of Greenfinch, Goldfinch and Chaffinch. A flock of 20+ Fieldfare included a few Redwing Other birds recorded included Pheasant, Buzzard, Kestrel, Lapwing, Skylark, Meadow Pipit, Song Thrush, Jay, Magpie, Reed Bunting and Yellowhammer with Golden Plover and Brambling heard calling. Birds in song included Song Thrush, Linnet and Corn Bunting.
