Late walk last night, only saw two other people walking and they were near Round Loaf, there doesn't seem to be as many walkers or joggers this year.
4 mistle thrush, lots of pipits, several skylark, swift, swallow, pheasants, numerous grey wagtails in Black Brook. Curlew still in breeding song on Anglezarke side and also a juvenile. At least two grasshopper warblers reeling constantly at Drinkwaters. On return to the car heard what sounded like a short eared owl, I saw it too but it just looked like a brown flappy thing with the light virtually gone at 10.30 so couldn't positively ID it.
