Croston/mawdesley moss .

6 mute swan on the douglas , sedge warbler singing amongst the baslm on the river , 3 kestrel , 1 buzzard , 1 little owl being mobbed by swallows , fem yellowhammer with nest material , 2 stock dove , post breeding flock of 70 lapwing in a carrot field , no quail again , swift were feeding low over the cereal fields , spotted another sedge warbler singing in the rough field next to the railway ( its the first year ive seen sedge warbler in this field , it should hold grasshopper warbler as well) 1rabbit , 1 hare and a dead mole , forgot to mention small numbers of goldfinch and linnets and a small warbler passing through some small trees on the middle of the moss ( proably a chiffchaff or willow warbler )
