Hobby mobbed by Swallows over Croston North Park early afternoon today.

Hobby over the park area again late morning today accompanied by angry swallows and house martins.
3 Buzzards circling the thermals in the same area.

Probable Hobby high above southport road ( eccleston /croston boundry ) 4.30pm today .

Thanks for that Gary, I saw it at work (Leyland Garden centre) and wasn't sure, but was sure it wasn't a kestrel, never thought it could be a Hobby, it evidently was!
Just looked up the sound of their call online and it matches with what I heard at the time.
Shame I didn't have binoculars, it was flying above for a good few minutes
