Another try at finding Bombus monticola but despite much better weather still no luck -found bombus rupestris -hill cuckoo bee plus tree, buff tailed and common carder bumblebee plus scores of honey bees on heather in full bloom.
Butterflies-peacock(4); meadow brown (10+); Speckled Wood (20+); Large white -5-10; gatekeeper (50+); red admiral; small skipper; small tortoiseshell.
Two small -one year old -toads.
Rabbit; grey squirrel.
Wren (at least 4 singing); wood pigeon (6); robin -(4 including one singing and a juvenile);nuthatch; blue tit (6+);Carrion crow (3); magpie(2); house martin (8) near Kittiwake estate where there are several nests -needs surveying.
Fungi-scarlet waxcap? in amongst the heather -any help with ID appreciated

There are several red/orange waxcap fungi. Have you any idea of the cap diameter?

Possibly Scarlet or Crimson Waxcap.
