Male whinchat on the mawdesley side this evening last seen perched in a wheat field , peregrine was perched on a pylon for around 2 hours , found the grey partridge family on the mawdesley side again ( exactly same spot ) but sadly it looked like they were down to one young , 5 corn bunting , 2 yellowhammer , 2 sedge warbler with a family of whitethroat along a ditch , 8 mallard on a ditch ( 7 well grown young ) , 3 buzzard , 2 kestrel .

The whinchat was south along the track past alma wood from the railway crossing fist seen at close quarters on the edge of the track before it flew in to the wheat field .
