Thirty Canada geese, family of four whitethroat; six+ swallows; two house martin; grey heron; three mallard; two separate groups of goldfinch -total 5 birds; 10+ jackdaw; three carrion crow; calling juvenile buzzard.

Small tortoiseshell; gatekeeper; two small white. Bumblebees-common carder; red tailed; white tailed.
Identified small fish in canal as stickleback.
Ox eye daisy still in flower; other flowering plants-greater burdock;meadowsweet; red clover; white clover; dandelion; creeping thistle; spear thistle; wall lettuce; great, broad-leaved and rosebay willowherb; marsh and hedge woundwort; angelica; hogweed.
