Anglezarke moor

8.00am - 4.00pm
White Coppice - Great Hill - Spitlers edge - Will Narr - Hempshaws - Old Rachels - Simms - Holts Flat - Round Loaf - Hurst Hill - Stronstrey Bank.

Grey Wagtail. Stock Dove 2. Willow Warbler at White Coppice.

Family parties of Kestrel at Dean Black Brook and Hempshaws.

Grasshopper Warbler reeling half heartedly at Hempshaws.

Pair of Stonechat and one juvenile at Limestone Clough.

Lesser Redpoll at Holts Flat and Stronstrey Bank.

Also on the moor
Meadow Pipit 20-30. Raven 6. Swallow 4. Swift 6. Buzzard 3. Reed Bunting 2. Peregrine.

Butterflies.
Small Heath near Drinkwaters.
Large Skipper 9 and Small Copper 2 at Limestone Clough.
Meadow Brown at Old Rachels.

Odonata.
Common Hawker dragonfly at Limestone Clough.

Large Red 1 and Common Blue Damselfly 10+ on a pool near Old Rachels - SD638160.

The same pool also had Palmate Newt 2. several froglets and a couple of Toad tadpoles. a very lively Common Lizard that'd lost its tail was seen nearby.
