Common Bank Lodge and surrounds

Post by ianball »

An afternoon for fledglings. Young of Chiffchaff, Bullfinch, Robin, Mistle Thrush, Nuthatch and GSW around the lodge. Little Grebe family very noisy :-)
Many orchids now flowering on the meadows. Common Spotted numerous (20+) seen and what I believe to be Early Marsh Orchid (sub-species pulchella) - photo attached.
