Buckshaw Village
A cycle ride around parts of Buckshaw this morning; A minimum of 13 House Martins, some appear to be looking for suitable nest sights. 5 Swifts and 6 Swallows all in the same area and flying low. Woodpigeons. 3 Blackcaps singing. Numerous House Sparrows, to many to count. Blackbirds. Several Goldfinch. 2 Dunnocks. Several Robins. 2 Moorhens. BH Gulls. 1 Herring Gull. 7 Canada Geese and Mallards, 1 with 5 Ducklings.
