Wymott Ponds Area

Post by 1swallow »

Fairly quiet morning visit today. 1 Lesser Whitethroat singing by Ridley Lane close to the fishing pond. No Sedge Warbler or Grasshopper Warbler so 6 species of Warblers recorded.

Off Pump House Lane there was a Starling flock in the newly cut field. They didn’t hang around as a Sparrowhawk turned spooking them to fly off to the east.

2 Ravens flew over calling agitating the local pair of Carrion Crows who immediately took off panicking and dive-bombed 1 of the calling Ravens.
