Wonderful day of insects in South Cumbria

Post by ianball »

Great day out with Simon in South Cumbria. Visited Howe Ridding and Brigsteer Woods for Butterflies, and Foulshaw and Meathop Mosses for Dragonflies.
20 species of the former, and 12 of the latter. Main highlights were great views of Silver Washed Fritillary and White Faced Darter.
