Marshside - Long Billed Dowitcher

Long Billed Dowitcher very close views on Crossens inner marsh this afternoon, from the wall at end of Glencoyne Drive. Raptors showed well from sandplant. Hen and Marsh Harrier close in, Peregrine, Merlin and Kestrel too, with Common Buzzard rounding off 6 species.
(Last week had Water Pipit and Great White Egret by the wildfowler pull in.
Then to Gravel Lane in Banks. 6 Cattle Egret were showing, with a single Little Egret for comparison.
Good bit of year ticking.
