I've posted my account of a weekend jaunt down to East Anglia. Simon had gained a place on the BTO bird camp 2019 (which he is going to write up about) and experienced some things that I will be forever jealous of.
Highlights were Great Reed Warbler, Goshawk and probable Honey Buzzard on the way down.
Minsmere produced quantity and quality with many bird and insect highlights.
Sunday was overhead Common Cranes and then Stone Curlew.
Having lived in this area 20 years ago it was great revisiting old haunts.
