Peter -just posted a sighting in our garden that could be A.gazella or A. parietum on iRecord -to be verified (or not). Apparently not recognised as two species until 1954. Ben Hargreaves's L&CFS book has 40 records for gazella in Lancashire, fewer for parietum. May well be the case of a first f...

Also in our garden, Great Knowley, Peter: suspect they are under recorded as look quite like a small bumblebee -though admittedly, the yellow face of male is unmistakable.

Think the amphibian could be a toadlet, Len, given skin texture and paratoid glands being pretty prominent; either way good to see
