CHORLEY'S GREENSCENES FROM MOSS TO MOOR
Environment Times editor, Duncan Ashcroft, who writes a regularly fortnightly column, 'Greenscene', for the Chorley Guardian, is organising an exhibition in the Gallery at Astley Hall. The exhibition, which will be entitled 'Chorley's Greenscenes from moss to moor', will run for a month from May 17th.
For the exhibition, he is teaming up with the Society's resident wildlife photographers, Colin Smith F.R.P.S. and Simon Booth A.R.P.S. to expand upon some of the Chorley Borough themes he has written about. The exhibition will explore the wide variety of landscapes, wildlife and heritage found in the district and will show how you can become involved with the appropriate groups and organisations. A section will be dedicated to photos, poems and artwork of cherished Chorley landscapes submitted by the public. The Society is hoping to include its display board in the exhibition.
