GARDEN BUTTERFLY SURVEY
Following on from the success of the Winter Garden Bird Survey, the Society has decided to introduce a Garden Butterfly Survey. The Survey is being split into two parts, covering the months February to June and July to November and forms for the purpose will be available at indoor meetings or from Phil Kirk.
Try to give dates for all butterflies seen in your garden each month, but in any event all records will be welcomed. We have listed the nineteen species most likely to be seen in the Chorley area, but if any other species such as the occasional migrant Clouded Yellow should occur, please add them to the list.
Once you have completed the survey, either bring the form to a meeting or return it to Phil Kirk
