All the above meetings will be held at St Mary's Parish Centre, Devonshire Road, Chorley and commence at 7.30 p.m. Please note that all meetings are on a Thursday evening. Visitors are welcome at all the meetings.

06/02/2010 09:30 Mere Sands Wood As the January visit was cancelled due to the weather, we are trying again in Febraury. Meet n the Car Park at 9.30am. £2 charge for parking.
07/03/2010 09:00 Withnell Fold A walk around Withnell, taking in the nature reserve, flashes and surrounding countryside. Meet by the canal bridge.
19/05/2010 19:00 White Coppice Evening Walk A walk to find some of the White Coppice specialities including Redstart, Spotted Flycatcher and Cuckoo. Meet at the cricket field at 7.00pm
17/06/2010 19:00 Croston Moss Park in Drinkhouse Lane near garage. 7.00pm start
21/07/2010 19:00 Whittle-le-Woods Meet at the car park near Denham Quarry. 7.00pm start
11/08/2010 19:00 Yarrow Valley Park Meet at the Visitor Centre Car Park 7.00pm

Full details of meeting points for evening walks will be announced later.

Members should ensure that they wear suitable footwear and clothing for field trips. They should also note that whilst all reasonable care will be taken, neither the Committee nor anyone acting as leader of a field trip can accept responsibility for any loss, damage or injury, howsoever suffered, during the course of field trips or other outdoor activities.
